进入十二月以后工作上压力加大很多，我靠听些香艳的浪漫小说解压。
周五刚听完的这个Fancy Pants, 女主角Francesca家里三代美女，都是伦敦社交名媛。Francesca从小被教育只有通过扮靓一条路才能赢得他人的爱，长大后的她精于此道，自负，傲慢，周旋于王子、摇滚巨星、影视明星和各类商贾巨子之间，石榴裙下伤者无数，可就是没有一个人能给她带来真正心动情动的感觉。
20岁上一直呵护她的母亲猝死，Francesca才发现经过这么多年来母女两人的共同挥霍，她实际上已经一贫如洗。这时她被某个崇拜者的保护欲过强的姐姐骗到美国去出演一部电影，她靠变卖衣物买了飞机票，希望凭此一飞冲天得以继续过她无忧无虑的物质生活。Francesca辗转到达位于美国德州某小城的拍摄地后才发现，那部电影是个根本上不了院线的粗滥制作。她当时几乎身无分文，但受不了委屈的她愤而拖着LV箱子离开剧组，走在乡间小路上时被开车路过的一个英俊无比的二流职业高尔夫球手Dallie收容，两人经过互相厌弃，到好感，到。。。 you know the drill.
Fancy Pants其实算是很常规的浪漫小说套路，吸引我的是作者对两位男女主人公的描述。我总感觉这部小说是这样诞生的：作者（女）在某个充满阳光的早上醒来，慵懒地躺在床上，望着墙上保罗纽曼的招贴，想着前一晚看的老电影Gone with the Wind里郝思嘉和白瑞德的爱恨情仇，痛恨自己怎么无法写出那样精彩的人物来。这时她脑中灵光忽闪：如果把郝思嘉放到二十世纪80年代，让她遇到保罗纽曼早期影片里的某个英俊潇洒，care free的drifter, 会是怎样的天雷地火？？
事实上整部小说中，作者一点也没有隐瞒她的这个臆想，书中数次描绘了Franscesca“费雯丽般绿色的眼睛”，小巧的身材，不盈一握的小腰，和Dallie那“保罗纽曼所独有的碧蓝的能电死所有女人的双眼”。性格和经历方面，Francesca身上也处处有着郝思嘉的影子，甚至在她最穷困潦倒身无分文时，作者让她想起的都是郝思嘉那句：“我发誓我此生不要再经历这种忍饥受冻的感觉。” 至于Dallie，他身上那种无拘无束潇洒随意的all American boy的气质，也总让人想起The Long Hot Summer里的Ben Quick.

中午休息时在网上瞎逛，听到这墨西哥三兄妹唱的Rolling in the Deep，惊为天人！小妹妹Angie只有十岁！！！
反复听了好几遍之后继续在youtube上溜达，无意间发现不少大腕都演绎过这首歌，比如John Legend，Linkin Park，和美国偶像三年前的冠军David Cook, 感觉都不如这仨兄妹呢，尤其是高音部分。
